From Camera Roll to Professional Document
Offices, embassies, universities, and tax portals all ask for the same thing: "send as a single PDF." Photographing receipts, signed forms, ID pages, or assignment sheets is easy — the hard part is turning those photos into one tidy PDF that looks intentional. Our Image to PDF converter does it in your browser: add images in order, choose page size and margins, and download a clean PDF with each photo placed exactly where it belongs. No uploads, no watermarks, no "free tier" page limits.
Page Size and Margin, Explained
- Fit to image — each page takes the exact dimensions of its photo. Zero cropping, zero letterboxing; best when the recipient only cares about content.
- A4 / US Letter — photos are centered and scaled to fit standard paper with your chosen margin. Best for anything that will be printed. Wide photos can auto-rotate the page to landscape so nothing shrinks.
- Margins — None for maximum image area, Small for a tidy frame, Large for formal submissions that get hole-punched or bound.
How It Works Under the Hood
The tool embeds your original JPEG or PNG bytes directly into the PDF via pdf-lib, running entirely in your browser. JPEG data is stored losslessly inside the container (no re-compression blur), PNGs keep their transparency on white pages, and each page references the embedded image object — so a 10-photo PDF stays remarkably small. Because everything happens locally, your passport scans and receipts never touch a server.
Common Recipes
- Expense reports: photograph receipts in order, convert with Small margins on A4, and submit one file.
- Homework: turn notebook photos into a numbered, ordered PDF the teacher can actually read.
- Applications: combine ID scan + documents into one official-looking file — then rotate any sideways page with the Rotate PDF tool.
