Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Universal Web Toolkit is free to use — no accounts, no paywalls, no limits. To keep it that way, the site is supported by sponsor placements and affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain language.

What affiliate links are

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and choose to buy a product or subscribe to a service, we may earn a commission from the company — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without our link.

How we label sponsored content

Every sponsor placement on this site is clearly labeled “Sponsored” and links to our disclosure (this page). Sponsor banners are visually separated from tools, articles and navigation — they are never disguised as content, buttons or menu items, and nothing opens or redirects automatically.

Our editorial independence

Commissions never influence how our tools work, what we recommend in articles, or how we rank anything. We only promote products we would genuinely use ourselves, and sponsor relationships have no effect on tool functionality, test results or the advice in our guides.

Your privacy comes first

Clicking a sponsor banner takes you to the partner's own website, where their privacy policy applies. All of our 86 tools process your data locally in your browser — nothing you type, upload or convert is ever sent to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Current partners

Our sponsor placements currently include offers from VPN and privacy-focused software companies (such as Surfshark and NordVPN). This list may change over time; the “Sponsored” label always tells you when a placement is paid.
